Kirtan is the chanting of mantras that leads to states of inner peace and harmony. Ecstatic states can also be experienced at times.
The chants are accompanied by music and there are lyric sheets to read the lyrics.
This evening is dedicated to the topic "Devi", which means goddess. We experience the divine inherent power of the primal feminine in singing and open ourselves to the dimensions of being of the divine mother.
